Concept lighting design
A concept your project can actually build
For qualified projects we prepare an initial concept lighting design free of charge: the lighting intent for each space, luminaire layouts, a product schedule, controls advice and lighting calculations where they genuinely inform the design. One concept route, one consolidated revision — prepared with NEKO manufacturer design support and delivered in a form your architect, contractor and electrician can work from.
The problem this solves
Most schemes are either designed without product reality (and get value-engineered into something else) or bought without design (and never feel right). A concept that carries real, specifiable products closes that gap.
What is included
- Lighting design intent per space — layers, focal points, atmosphere
- Luminaire layout drawings for the areas in scope
- A product schedule with NEKO families and indicative variants
- Beam, colour-temperature and glare-control strategy
- Dimming and controls advice coordinated with your electrical team
- Lighting calculations where the space genuinely requires them
- One consolidated revision after your feedback
What you provide
- Current drawings — plans and, ideally, reflected ceiling plans
- Room uses, ceiling build-ups and any joinery details
- Programme and budget range
- Dimming/control requirements and decision-makers
- Any incumbent specification we should respect or improve on
What you receive
- A concept pack (PDF) with layouts and the product schedule
- A basis for a complete package quotation
What happens next
You review the concept with your team; we consolidate feedback into one revision and issue the package quotation. Target turnaround is 10–15 working days from a complete brief, subject to manufacturer design-team confirmation.
