Drawing review & lighting calculations
The problems are cheaper on paper
Send us your drawings — plans, reflected ceiling plans, sections, joinery details or an existing lighting layout — and we review them the way a supplier who has to stand behind delivery reviews them: cut-outs against products, voids against housings, drivers against dimmers, beams against surfaces. Where a space needs proof, we run lighting calculations for illuminance and uniformity.
The problem this solves
Most late lighting failures are quiet drawing-stage errors: a trimless detail decided after plastering, a driver that will not dim on the installed protocol, an IP rating missing in a bathroom zone. Each is trivial on paper and expensive on site.
What is included
- Line-by-line review of lighting layouts and schedules
- Cut-out, void-depth and mounting-detail checks against real products
- Driver, dimming-protocol and load compatibility checks
- IP-zone and application checks for bathrooms and exteriors
- Lux and uniformity calculations where the space requires evidence
- A marked-up return with clear, buildable recommendations
What you provide
- Drawings in PDF, DWG or DXF, with the revision noted
- The lighting schedule or specification, if one exists
- Ceiling build-ups, joinery details and the dimming protocol
- The programme date the review must serve
What you receive
- A written review with marked-up drawings
- Calculation reports where performed
- A corrected product schedule where we identify substitutions
What happens next
You decide what to adopt. Where the review leads to a NEKO package, it flows straight into a quotation; the review itself creates no obligation.
