Every project starts with a short, structured conversation — by phone, video call or, where appropriate, in person. We review what exists (drawings, mood references, an incumbent specification), understand what the space needs to do, and tell you honestly whether and how we can add value. No catalogue presentation, no obligation.

Concept lighting design

Free for qualified projects

For qualified projects we prepare an initial concept lighting design free of charge: the lighting intent for each space, luminaire layouts, a product schedule, controls advice and lighting calculations where they genuinely inform the design. One concept route, one consolidated revision — prepared with NEKO manufacturer design support and delivered in a form your architect, contractor and electrician can work from.

Drawing review & lighting calculations

Layouts, lux levels, schedules

Send us your drawings — plans, reflected ceiling plans, sections, joinery details or an existing lighting layout — and we review them the way a supplier who has to stand behind delivery reviews them: cut-outs against products, voids against housings, drivers against dimmers, beams against surfaces. Where a space needs proof, we run lighting calculations for illuminance and uniformity.

Optics, beam angles, CRI, CCT

A lighting scheme is only as good as its least-specified line item. We resolve every fitting to its exact configuration — luminaire, size, optic, beam angle, colour temperature, CRI, finish, driver, control protocol and accessories — and document it so approval, procurement and installation all read from the same page.

Dimming & controls coordination

DALI, phase, scene setting

Dimming failure is the most common — and most avoidable — lighting defect: flicker at low level, pop-on, dead travel, channels that never worked. It is almost always a mismatch between driver and control protocol. We coordinate the two from the start: protocol selection, driver matching per configuration, circuiting and zoning logic, and scene intent that your controls contractor can commission.

Quotation & supply

Complete lighting packages

When the scheme is agreed, we quote it as a complete package: every fitting at its exact variant, accessories and drivers included, delivery basis stated, exclusions explicit. Quotations are free and itemised — built for comparison, approval and ordering, not for surprises. On order, we manage production, updates, delivery coordination, technical queries and after-sales through one London contact.

Professional boundaries
