Most schemes are not lost at design stage — they are lost line by line, in under-specified schedules and quiet substitutions. We close the gaps that let that happen.
Exact-variant specification
Every fitting resolved to its precise configuration — luminaire, size, optic, beam angle, colour temperature, CRI, finish, driver and control protocol — so procurement buys the product you designed, not the cheapest interpretation of its family name.
Trimless and architectural details
Plaster-in and trimless options, minimal apertures from Ø38 mm, 26 mm magnetic channels and seamless linear profiles — with cut-outs, void depths and build-up requirements confirmed against your ceiling and joinery details before they are fixed.
Finishes and consistency
Finishes, trims and accessories resolved and listed per line item, with colour temperature and CRI strategy held consistent across families — so one scheme reads as one scheme, room to room.

Sending drawings
Send drawings in PDF, DWG or DXF through the enquiry form — plans, reflected ceiling plans, sections or joinery details, with the revision noted. We review them against real products and return a coordinated response, with the right questions raised early rather than on site.
What a complete brief looks like
The concept turnaround clock starts when the brief is complete. These are the same items the enquiry form asks for:
- Project name, location and current stage
- Drawings — plans and, ideally, reflected ceiling plans (PDF, DWG or DXF)
- A room schedule with uses and ceiling build-ups
- The lighting brief — atmosphere, focal points, references
- Dimming and controls requirements, where already decided
- Programme — when lighting must be resolved and on site
- Your preferred meeting method — phone, video call or in person by appointment

Is the concept design really free, and what does it include?
For qualified projects, yes. We prepare one concept route with one consolidated revision — lighting intent per space, luminaire layouts, a product schedule, controls advice and calculations where justified — typically within 10–15 working days of a complete brief. It suits projects with an expected lighting package of roughly £5,000+ ex VAT. Final electrical design, emergency-lighting compliance, site surveys, Building Regulations sign-off and controls commissioning remain with the appointed professionals unless separately agreed.
Will you respect our design intent, or redesign the scheme?
Your design intent leads. Our role is to resolve it into specifiable, buildable products — optics, colour quality, trims, drivers and details — and to flag, not override, anything that will not build as drawn. You retain design control throughout.
What drawing formats can you work from?
PDF, DWG or DXF. Plans and reflected ceiling plans are the most useful; sections and joinery details help where lighting is integrated. Please note the revision on anything you send so the schedule tracks the right issue.
Can you provide samples for client presentations?
Yes — samples are available on request for finish, aperture and light-quality review. Tell us which families and finishes the scheme is considering and we will arrange what the presentation needs.
Do you provide documentation for tender packages?
Yes. The specification schedule carries exact product codes and is issued with manufacturer specification sheets and photometric resources, so it can stand in a tender package or support like-for-like assessment of alternatives.
